Troubleshooting Guide
Get Your Internet Back on Track in 3 Simple Steps!
Having internet trouble? Don't wait for a technician! Try these quick fixes to get back online in minutes:
1. Restart Your Router:
Unplug both your router and the power adapter (the small box) for 5 minutes.
Plug them back in and wait for everything to restart.
See if your internet connection improves.
2. Check Your Wi-Fi Network:
Try connecting a device to your Wi-Fi.
Did the network name change? If so, your router might have reset itself.

3. Test Your Internet Speed:
If your network name stayed the same, bypass the router by connecting an ethernet cable directly to your computer.
Run a speed test at https://www.speedtest.net/ to see your download and upload speeds.
Understanding the Results:
If your speeds are within 5 Mbps of your plan, the issue might be with your router.
Fixing Router Problems:
Try resetting the router using a paperclip (check your manual for specific instructions). This resets it to factory settings.
Follow the setup process mentioned earlier for your router brand.
