  • Security: We employ network management techniques to protect our network and customers from security threats, complying with relevant data privacy and security laws.

  • Performance: We optimize network performance to deliver consistent speeds and a quality user experience.

Network Management Practices

  • Congestion Management: We use industry-standard techniques to manage network congestion and maintain optimal performance for all users. This may include traffic shaping or prioritization to protect sensitive applications like VoIP and video streaming, in compliance with Louisiana's net neutrality laws.

  • Security Measures: We implement security measures to protect our network and customers from threats such as malware, spam, and unauthorized access, adhering to data privacy and security regulations, including those outlined in the Louisiana Consumer Protection Act.

  • Performance Monitoring: We continuously monitor network performance to identify and address issues that impact service quality.

Customer Responsibilities

  • Acceptable Use Policy: Customers are expected to adhere to Cajun Broadband's Acceptable Use Policy, which prohibits activities that may harm the network or other users and complies with Louisiana's laws regarding online conduct.

  • Equipment Compatibility: Customers are responsible for ensuring that their devices and equipment are compatible with our network.

  • Network Security: Customers are responsible for protecting their devices and personal information from unauthorized access, in accordance with Louisiana's data breach notification laws.

Service Performance

Cajun Broadband offers a variety of internet plans with advertised speeds. Actual speeds may vary based on factors such as network congestion, distance from the network, and customer equipment. We participate in the Federal Communications Commission’s (FCC) annual performance study, which provides detailed information about our service performance. No uptime or speed is guaranteed.
